To be a leading centre of academic excellence in the fields of autism, neurodevelopmental disorders and intellectual disability through collaborative partnerships in research, education and training.

Facilitate MDT research, create a culture of research and development, promote clinically driven research, work towards funded a research programme, develop post graduate qualifications, develop doctoral level programme, develop online training

To facilitate and promote research activity amongst front line clinicians co-produced with service users, carers and other experts by experience.

To create opportunities for all levels of qualifications in intellectual disabilities and neurodevelopmental disorders

To develop and deliver training for family members, carers and professionals across a wide range of stakeholders
